Nurturing Entrepreneurship Skills

History and research have concurred that there is something about entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs. Life examples teach us that entrepreneurship is not for everybody else. There are certain qualities that one must possess to enable them to own and run a business, and stand a realistic chance of succeeding. However, much as the traits are an essential ingredient, one also needs an environment to nurture the entrepreneurial ideas.

Alex Pall Illustrating Change in Chainsmokers

Alex Pall and Andrew Teggart met in 2012 with the help of their manager Adam Alpert to form a dance music production duo. The two have already become a household name in the music industry with only two years after the release of their single “Selfie” in 2014. The anticipated song “Closer” which will feature Hasley is expected to be different from the past productions as it will have Andrew singing.

Many DJs often do not bother to be involved in the creation of the song; they prefer songwriters and vocalist to deal with the lyrics and singing as they deal with the electronic production of the music. The duo stands out as they are actively involved with the songwriters to produce their content. The message conveyed by the song normally involves issues common to the society such as effects of the social media.

“Closer” deals with the topic of love and more specifically breakups. The song explains how the two met and the reason they broke up. Alex Pall was involved in dance music even before meeting Andrew as it was a hobby to him. Alex used to juggle between work and creating music in New York before he fully settled to producing and his manager introduced him to Andrew. Alex was not sure of venturing into full-time production of music as it was more of pleasure to him than work.

The two clicked almost immediately as they started meeting regularly and started producing songs and performing. They have come to learn a lot over the time they have worked together that have enabled them to receive awards along the way.

Building identity in the electronic genre has never been easy as there is a lot of similarity between different artist. This makes the competition in such an industry stiff and for one to emerge the best one has to alter production to a different version consistently. The duo has however changed their perspective and are now taking a different approach from straight-up music. “Roses” and “Waterbed” are an illustration to the changes they are implementing to stand up ahead of the rest.
