Kisling, Nestico & Redick (KNR) is a large personal injury law firm located in Ohio. They have 30 lawyers at 10 locations all across the state. People in this state know them from their radio and television ads that have the slogan, “Hurt in a car…call KNR”. The law firm was founded in 2005 and has helped thousands of Ohio residents.
They have had cases that have resulted in multimillion-dollar judgments and settlements. However, at Kisling, Nestico & Redick they will fight just as hard for every client no matter how big their case is. Besides car accidents, they help people with every type of legal case involving negligence, from dog bites to medical malpractice. They have a well-earned reputation as being tenacious fighters for their client’s rights.
Rob Nestico, one of the co-founders of Kisling, Nestico & Redick, was almost killed in a car accident when he was a teenager. He vowed to become a lawyer and fight for people when he saw how badly the insurance company took advantage of his Italian immigrant parents. He works to reform the system and help get victims of negligence what they are entitled to. He says that the sole mission of insurance companies seems to be to stomp on the victims of accidents when they are down.
Like-minded lawyers have joined Kisling, Nestico & Redick because they want to be strong advocates for their clients. Standing up to insurance firms and advocating for their clients is what drives the lawyers at this law firm. The whole staff at Kisling, Nestico & Redick is dedicated to helping people get through a very difficult period of their lives after having been injured.
Kisling, Nestico & Redick do more than just help clients. They also seek out ways of helping the broader community. They have a KNR Cares About Kids campaign, for instance. Part of this campaign is putting forth an effort to convince people not to text while driving. Another initiative is encouraging bike riders to put on a helmet. The lawyers at this firm have had far too many clients who have been injured because of these two practices.

Of the many causes behind car accidents and the injuries that follow, texting while driving is especially dangerous. Always handling a mobile device can trick drivers into becoming comfortable while handling one on the road, but their attention is compromised and many will pay the price. As a personal injury law firm, Kisling, Nestico & Redick have witnessed the after math of texting while driving, and they want to do their part to make it stop.
As they’ve done in the past for other charity functions, Kisling, Nestico & Redick set up a scholarship contest to find solutions to a problem by going directly to those most affected, young people. The contest offered up $5,000 in tuition money to a high school student with the most persuasive idea for ending distracted driving.
For this contest, Elianna Norin, a high school senior from Hudson, Ohio, came out on top with her appeal to public service. Out of 400 entries, hers appealed the most. Joshua Angelotta, a Senior Partner at this law firm, went directly to Norin’s school to give her the scholarship check. Norin says she plans to put it to good use when she attends the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall.
High school students who’ll be going to college in 2020 can start submitting their ideas to Kisling, Nestico & Redick now until March of next year to be considered for the next scholarship contest.
