Roseann Bennett is considered to be one of the most revered family therapists in the country. Her experience of over ten years has allowed her to work with people of all walks of life, helping them through all kinds of issues. Roseann Bennett gathered much of her experience through in-home therapy sessions dealing with individuals and families. In 2010, Roseann Bennett would open the doors to not only her next step in her career but an opportunity for people to find help. Since then the Center for Assessment and Treatment has provided an incredible amount of aid to individuals who may not have had access to therapy treatments. We recently sat down with Roseann Bennett to go a little more in-depth about her life and career.
What is your typical work routine?
Roseann Bennet states that because she is primarily in charge of the direction, and coordination of the assessment and treatment center then she is an integral part of its daily operation. On top of the day-to-day operations of the center, Bennet also takes care of her own clinical caseload. This is mainly due to her continued passion for helping others and allowing them to understand that change is possible
What type of productivity tips do you have for us?
One of the most important habits to have when there is so much to be done is to understand when to walk away, says Roseann Bennet. This allows the mind to clear up and think over the situation. In addition to that, Bennet firmly believes in having a passion for any project she is working on; this greatly influences the quality of the work.
How do you end your days?
One of the most satisfying things to do at the end of a heavy work day is crossing out all the tasks that were completed, says Roseann Bennett. In addition, it is crucial that Bennett organizes her current work and plan out the tasks that need to be completed for the upcoming day and week.
